| Drawing |
Children will learn about line, form, shape, texture, value, color and composition. They will also learn how to apply each of these techniques in their finished drawings. Upon completion students should have a fundamental understanding of the tools and techniques necessary for drawing.
This class is unlike our other classes in that it is a continuous class. This means that the projects from one semester to the next will change - so a child may sign up for this class 2, 3 or even 4 times. It is designed to strengthen all aspects of your child's drawing. |
| Young Picasso II |
You wanted more artists - you got 'em. Due to the many requests for a follow-up class to "Young Picasso" we have designed an extension of the class which offers 8 new and exciting artists (O'Keeffe, Cassat, Klee...) ("Young Picasso" is not a prerequisite for this class.) |
| Sculpture |
Students will experience several different forms of sculpture in this class. (clay, wire, plaster, cardboard, paper mache'...) |
| Painting |
Students will experience a variety of painting styles, paint types (acrylic, watercolor, tempera), and techniques! A great mixture of fun and instruction! |
