| Drawing |
Children will learn about line, form, shape, texture, value, color and composition. They will also learn how to apply each of these techniques in their finished drawings. Upon completion students should have a fundamental understanding of the tools and techniques necessary for drawing.
This class is unlike our other classes in that it is a continuous class. This means that the projects from one semester to the next will change - so a child may sign up for this class 2, 3 or even 4 times. It is designed to strengthen all aspects of your child's drawing. |
| Painting |
Students will experience a variety of painting styles, paint types (acrylic, watercolor, tempera), and techniques! A great mixture of fun and instruction! |
| Art Around the World |
Students will journey around the world in this multi-cultural art experience! (Africa, Asia, Native Americans, and Mexico) |
| Crafty Kids |
Children will enjoy creating craft-oriented art projects (picture frames, bulletin boards, puppets...). Many of these projects can be used by the children or given as a gift to someone special. |
| Sculpture |
Students will experience several different forms of sculpture in this class. (clay, wire, plaster, cardboard, paper mache'...) |
